How do I ignore my .ghci file to get rid of the error: [global-stack-repl] No result from REPL within 60 seconds. Command was: :load

Sorry for my bad, if I read the wiki carefully this shall not happen because:

So .ghci will always be loaded, and the configurations should not be set in that file, but a .ghci.standalone instead.

Thus, I did as they say:

  • Move my .ghci to .ghci.standalone
  • Add alias ghci="ghci -v0 -ignore-dot-ghci -ghci-script ~/.ghci.standalone" to my shell's config file

And everything works fine.
