Do you mean alexa-audio-check has no output? You can also use speaker-test to check your audio output.

No, both the tests are positive. I think either the message is not being sent properly or received properly.
I'm getting this error for get_response :
INFO:hyper.http20.connection:Received unhandled event <PriorityUpdated stream_id:5, weight:16, depends_on:0, exclusive:False>
Also, I'm getting a content-type json response

There are some updates. You can upgrade the latest avs library and try agian. To upgrade avs, run pip install -U avs
