the files to be edited lives in the layouts/ directory Hugo generates static files in public/

simultaneously run the following commands ...

$ npm run h
$ npm run t

# or..

$ npm run h && npm run t

FYI, these are mapped as ...

Deployment 🚀

To build the project, run:

hugo -D

this will build all of the assets in the public/

Netlify Setup 👾

under 'Build & Deploy' > 'Build Settings'

the 'Base Directory' AND 'Publishing Directory' must be set to public/

to change syntax highlighting, in config.toml change langauge to something based off this list found on https://xyproto.github.io/splash/docs/all.html#rrt or generated by hugo gen chromastyles -h
