This is a real brain bender.

If the :controller is set to //pages it works as expected so it's like something is gsubbing off the first / but only when on the blog tab?!

Sorry, just noticed that the "fix" i submitted only fixed the bug I had. Just reproduced this one. I think the problem lies in the nested scopes in the routes. The outer scope doesn't seem to be reseted through the /pages.
