Same issue over here... It's a common scenario, for example when you dismiss the spinner after getting a result from your web call and show an error message right after that.

Quickfix: Just drop the Dismiss() call, because the spinner is dismissed anyway if you call Show() again.

Hi @brunnurs and @sboutsis

yes, calling show again is generally a good way - it cleans itself up if it's showing.

I suspect it's not working as the Dismiss animates the progress away, so if you call show immediately, it's already in the process of hiding it - and the end result is hidden.

So, you could wait a second or so before calling show after hide, or just call show right away.
