Did you follow the steps outlined in the readme?

What you should also do is to verify that LibreOffice is able to open a file from Alfresco from inside LibreOffice: http://sgros.blogspot.com.es/2013/03/integrating-libreoffice-4-and-alfresco.html

Also make sure you are running LibreOffice 4.x or higher.

great addon!!! It worked flawless in the share detailed document view (document-details). But when I click on the action in the document library (browse view?), then I get the same error message like kazey.

Glad you like the plugin!

First of all, make sure you are building the plugin from the develop branch, since there are fixes there that are not yet merged down to the master branch.

git clone https://github.com/Redpill-Linpro/alfresco-libreoffice-online-edit.git
git checkout develop

Then follow the instructions on this page to build/install/configure https://github.com/Redpill-Linpro/alfresco-libreoffice-online-edit/tree/develop#configuration

If you do that, everything should work without you having to patch any files.
