Send user_id in response body for 'convert-token'? about django-rest-framework-social-oauth2

I've thought about this before, and in the end, I've decided that convert-token should only be used to convert a token and nothing else.
That way it really looks like an oauth2 token call.
Moreover, I want the developer to decide what to do next and an id alone is frequently not enough data to store.

In your case, I would make a second call to a /me route allowing you to return the current user's data.
If this bothers you, you should inherit from the ConvertToken view and override the post method to include the id as well.

Okay, thanks Philip. That's exactly what I ended up doing - I store the user's Facebook ID during the Social Auth pipeline flow, and then set up a server route to retrieve users from my db with their Facebook ID. Thanks again.
