Path to script is relative to execution point. There's a reason why it works in dev and not prod and that is your electron build moved the scripts inside its asar. Powershell.exe cannot see inside your asar. You need to exclude the folder where you keep your scripts from your build (see an example package.json line 33 is where I exclude a folder called scripts) and then copy them into place with a post build script (you could use webpack which of course everybody who comes here and complains about this same issue doesn't know how to move a file with webpack). In my opinion react and webpack are both very unnecessary for your project.
