Agreed. I believe that the spec is a bit too restrictive here as well. As far as I can tell, the spec doesn't play nicely with one legged OAuth since authorizationUri is required.

As far as my understanding of OAuth 2 goes, the following is true:

| Credentials | ⨯ | ✔ |
But when I generate a RAML with one of the non-required URL missing, I get a warning from RAML JS parser.
