Can you go into detail what is broken about the rotation and the backlight?

That basically showcases it.
Rotation also doesnt work.
Is there some log file I can send for you to diagnose?

backlight is also not working on kobo glo.
If I turn on the backight before launching UMR, it turns off when the app is launch. Trying to turn on on the light (press physical button), it does nothing.
