just noticed that this also happens when no delimiters are involved, but it's definitely delimitMate causing this. edit empty file, shift-o, esc, shift-o. the oddity happens on the second shift-o, and every time after that as long as the cursor line doesn't change.

This occurs because, when Vim is running inside the terminal, delimitMate sets the following map:

inoremap <Esc>OC <Right>

This mapping prevents a problem where the arrow keys stop working correctly, see issue #18.

The problem is that the terminal sends OA for , replace the A for B on , C on and D on , but it seems like the mapping affects the handling of those terminal codes and the arrow keys stop working.

I tried to find other solutions to that problem, but I haven't been able to find any. I'm open to any suggestions, so if anybody thinks of an alternative let me know.
