On many files I'll get Unknown function: DelimitMate_BS about delimitmate

It looks like you are using an old version of delimitMate mixed with a recent one. DelimitMate_BS() was renamed to delimitMate#BS() and moved to autoload/delimitMate.vim.

I can't find any reference to DelimitMate_BS() in the current files, could you give me the output of the following?:

:DelimitMateReload
seems to resolve it, but obviously not the fix.

OK, thanks that was what I needed. It was being stored in a vim view, so any file I had previously edited was "caching" the old operation. This is why reload fixed it. I think it's time to clear out my views.

I'll do that and see if it fixes it.

    rm -rf ~/.vimviews/* 

fixed it.
