What version of julia is this on?
Any chance that you could post a reproducable example?
If that doesn't work, could you let me know what the type of df[j,:IncidenceReported]
for some j
is, and also the type of λReported[j]
?
Finally, is there a reason to use broadcasting in lfact.(df[j,:IncidenceReported])
? Isn't the indexing into the DataFrame
returning a scalar in any case?
I would really like to get to the bottom of this, because this looks like potentially a mistake in the promotion system on my end that is screwing things up for other packages, so would be good to figure out what is going on.

Sorry, but I think there was something wrong with different versions of Julia :(
