RPC client as class member variable about packio

Hello, I'm assuming you're otherwise using make_client to create the client.

template <typename Rpc, typename Socket, template <class...> class Map = default_map>
auto make_client(Socket&& socket)
{
    return std::make_shared<client<Rpc, Socket, Map>>(
        std::forward<Socket>(socket));
}

As we can see, it's returning a std::shared_ptr<client<Rpc, Socket, Map>>. Map is optional.
So you can just use std::shared_ptr<client<Rpc, Socket>>. That means you need to know the type of your socket. If you don't have if on hand, I'd advise on learning about decltype to help you deduce it.

Thanks for the tip. I have now a member variable as follows:
std::shared_ptr<client<packio::net::ip::tcp::socket>> m_rpc_client;
Then in the constructor i create the client.
