Hello @albanD!
Yes, you're right, this was mentioned in the release post, but I should mention, that most of C++/Rust developers get binaries from pytorch.org (Start Locally -> download.pytorch.org), not from CI directly; and there is no information about deprecation (I attached screenshot, you can find it under spoiler).
Also I need to mention that "deprecation of macOS x86 binaries build jobs" does not necessarily mean "deprecation of macOS x86 target" (and this what @ptrblck mentioned in discussion), so there may be some misunderstandings (I definitely had one 😄).

This has been discussed in #114602
I though it was mentioned in the release post

I'm happy to update any wording if you think it is confusing.
From https://pytorch.org/blog/pytorch2-2/
"Please note that we are deprecating macOS x86 support, and PyTorch 2.2.x will be the last version that supports macOS x64."
This one looks good right?
I updated the release note for 2.3 to say "removal" and not "deprecation".
Do you think that we want to have a link in the getting started page to mention that it is expected that no x86 binaries are there?

Thank you!

Yes, that would be great.

cc @svekars what is the process to add a link to https://dev-discuss.pytorch.org/t/pytorch-macos-x86-builds-deprecation-starting-january-2024/1690 in the current getting started page for macos builds with a small note that there are no more x86 builds. And we should keep that for a couple versions.
