nope.
did you try to revert your changes to make sure it was linked to them?

I'm wondering if we may end up just dropping zmq.... As most of the API will be also exposed through http... Zmq is still usefull for "pub/sub" behaviour.

No it breaks locally and on TC. Threading stuff should not have that impact.
But somehow it messes up importing sequence of binary libraries from zmq.
It actually breaks on on import of zmq.backend.cython.error.pyd (through select backend) then it tries to import _cffi_backend and also fails, then re raises orginal import error.

I have pinpointed the issue source in the pyinstaller, it was filtering duplicates and depending on how import process was sequenced zmq is once put down as EXTENSION and once as a BINARY. with different target paths. I have changed duplicate detection from source path matching to target path matching.
Output pydio executable crashes when it's missing zmq/libzmq.pyd file.
It work locally, but then windows agent seems to lost zmq reference completely...

I have cleaned up globally installed packages and it helped.
