php mysql extension about puphpet

Ok that means that the according MySQL extension has to be installed automatically when the user selects MySQL as db (like it is already done with the php5-fpm package when nginx should be installed). Same workflow for the PostgreSQL. Did you encounter any further problem with the MySQL installation?

After installing php5-mysql I was able to use my app based on mysql and php.

I also added some profilling capabilities to the VM after it has been created. I had to do this manually via SSH because the pear extension "xhprof" was not selectable in " Installed PECL Packages".

I also wondered why I cannot install PHP5.2 on Ubuntu10 - event is is of course a outdated version - but we ran some legacy apps on this version... (also having PHP5.5. beta would be a plus)

Other PHP versions are not officially supported in Ubuntu Lucid or Precise Pangolian. So the installation has to be done with PPAs and it is quite difficult to support configuration on those custom packages in long term.

However adding xhprof to the installable pecl extensions is worth a seperate ticket :)

This is now done in #26 , including for MySQL.

This bug is now fixed in the current version of puPHPet, now that PR #26 has been merged.
