Thanks for recording this one here. The examples/sample-article.xml does some of this. It stresses most of my conversions, though it does not exercise all the CSS possibilities. A super-long equation would be good to add (though it will "wreck" the LaTeX version). But mostly it is good as an authors' demo, as you suggest. And I see lots of things break when I make mistakes in my output, so it has already prevented several bugs.

Ah, okay. I've successfully generated that. This is a good start. It'll definitely help me out.

What do you say to copying/moving the instructions for generating that to the readme? I know there's some documentation on the mathbook homepage and in the document, but I think the README might be a little more obvious/accessible.

Very good. And if you copy the "examples/images" directory over to where you host the sample, then you can see those too.

I just updated a bunch of "quickstart" type documentation, and thought to add it to the README. So I should definitely do that.

I've borrowed the first three chapters of Judson's abstract algebra text and fashioned a sample book from that. At 3a0a038

There is also a very, very minimal "Hello, World" example now at 3517357

I will close this now, though these will continue to improve. There are enough ongoing projects out there now that can also provide examples.
