By adding that code I mysteriously get one failure in the specs:
1) Spidr::Agent should visit absolute links to unvisited pages
Failure/Error: Unable to find (eval) to read failed line

got: false (using ==)

OK, retested your patch against ruby-1.9.2-p180, ruby-1.8.7-p334, jruby-1.6.0 and rubinius and everything passes.
