When starting to tile a window, create blue overlay on top of the window rather than a close tiled location about shell

Currently if I enable resizing with Super + Enter ----> then resize it with Shift + left/right/up/down it only shrink and increase the window with regards to the "right" and bottom edges of the window. it would make more sense if it shrinks in the direction of the nearest screen edge for example. So if I resize the right window in a two tile horizontal setup it moves shrinks the left edge instead. and same thing for up and down and so on. And also that the rest of the windows should follow increase or decrease size if one window changes.
And If I close one window the other window should "fill the screen" and eat up any empty screen estate.

edit: I just checked the tiles file, and am I correct that it only handles individual windows at the moment, I could not see that they are interconnected so any synchronized resizing would not happen, as it is now?
