I think it's the problem at line 124 that a extra directory of pm-poly/ is added.

Yeh. I see this in MELPA but not in local build from source. Looking into it.

There are instructions in the manual. Just clone and add to load-path basically.

I just tried and another error emerges and it's the same as the other issue:
Warning (initialization): An error occurred while loading ‘/home/chenr6/.emacs’:
Invalid slot type: pm-inner-chunkmode, head-matcher, (or string symbol cons), #[257 \302\300\301^C#\207 [markdown-yaml-metadata-begin nil pm--get-property-nearby] 5
(fn AHEAD)]
It's a little pity that I am not familiar with elisp and can not help. Let me know if you have time to fix it. Thanks very much!
UPDATE: It's just because that the polymode hasn't been installed. After installing polymode, everything goes well then.
Hope this would help others!

Now I manually installed the package and it works, but installation from package-install of MEPLA. Can you help me check it if you have time? Thanks!

You mean you cannot install from MELPA? It should work as I pull them from melpa for some tests. If not could you please open a new issue with the more detailed description of the problem?
