Eh I'll leave this issue here since I'm not sure which app is causing the problem.

Specifically this issue happened when creating clips for an episode of Duncan Trussell Family Hour http://feeds.feedburner.com/DuncanTrussell

Nothing off the top of my head.

Troubleshooting instincts

• observe the field type in postgres to see if it "makes sense" -- I expect it to be one of the timestamp types
• you can turn on sequilze's (debug?) mode which prints out every SQL statement it generates for postgres and examine that.
• Perhaps do some manual INSERT statements based on what we see from the other steps.
