But MonticelloTonel-FileSystem is not platform-specific ... someday (possibly soon) we will port FileSystem to GemStone and then we'll be back where we started from ... for the moment I've created two new packages MonticelloTonel-Pharo-Core and MonticelloTonel-GemStone-Core and added the method on the class side of TonelWriter ... this is my solution of the moment so I can proceed with the port and when we finalize the approach, I'll change it ...
