It's expecting it to be VALUE=DATE, but it also includes time infromation, thus it's not matching the regexp on line 54. So I guess the problem is in my file, but it should check for that and return error, instead of crashing.

yep, the regex should handle dates. Can I use your ical file in a unit test?

your events have no UID's - that's what's causing the problem. I'll come up with a way to handle dateless events.

That's a public file, so I don't think it's a problem if you use it in your unit tests and thanks, this seems like a nice library. :)
