Firstly, thanks for the nicest op cache GUI I've ever seen :).

Thank you :)

So when I saw cache full 🔴 I was first alarmed...

Yes that may be an "error" in the user interface. We don't want people alarmed when everything is ok :)

What about using green for on, gray for off, and red for problems?

Yes sounds like a perfectly valid idea.

What about the /configuration page? Are we also going to use grey for disabled and green for enabled or something like that?

I was thinking about the configuration. I think red shouldn't be used there either. Depends on how far you want to go. Some kind of on/off visualization would be great. Something like that: http://www.freebiesbucket.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/toggle-btns1.jpg

I just googled on/off icons.

But I thinkt green/gray would be fine too.

I have been going back and forward with this issue. Removing some indicators, changing colors, introducing extra colors, using text instead...

For the latest release I have chosen to make all status icons green by default (all is ok) and only use red when something is happening.

To be honest I am still not entirely sure whether I took the correct approach now, but I will give it some time to see whether it annoys me enough once more to change it again.

I left the config page out for now, basically using the same reasoning (if it start to annoy me enough I will fix it).

I think with the changing of the colors of the dots on the status page the "all is well" and "ermargahd something is wrong" intent has already improved a lot. Going to close it for now. At least until I don't agree with the past me again. If you still think I should give it more thought or don't agree feel free to ping me!
