External table is not in the expected format.

The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.

It's a web app and I cannot install the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable on the server since I don't control it...
My code is very simple:

private void ProcessExcel(string file)
{
try
{
var excel = new ExcelQueryFactory(file);

            var items = from i in excel.Worksheet<Item>(ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["WorksheetName"])
                        select i;

            ISerachDb db = new SerachDb();
            db.BatchDeleteAndInsert(items.ToList());

        }
        catch (Exception ex)
        {
            throw new Exception(ex.Message);
        }
    }

It looks like the exception is being caused because the ACE database engine not installed on the server. (see this Stack Overflow post)

Unfortunately because you can't install the Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 engine on the web server, I don't think there is any other way to fix this issue.
