As an update - our team has prototyped using the postcss library to convert the pf-next css. The next steps is to add a build step to our pf-react-seed application to validate whether or not the css/html is truly available in IE11. This is a priority for us right now.

The biggest reason we are holding back judgment is that there aren’t really any pure CSS polyfills that enable the grid functionality in pf4 css completely. Grid is one example that struggles but the path forward exists in that we’d have to provide mapping variables that would enable postcss to convert to the IE11 native grid. CSS properties should be polyfillable for IE11 so that part looks to be positive.

Wanted to share another update before I leave for PTO for rest of year. The latest changes can be seen by pairing the following branch in patternfly-next with the PR that's connected above. We've got the better part of a full page layout going, just trying to work through some issues with grid and some other utility classes. @ibolton336 @dmiller9911 @dgutride
