@tomusdrw , we have never taken this into account. The idea will be to keep using the transfer call instead of transferKeepAlive but put the validation on the UI. Any comments or ideas?

Sounds good, however estimating fees ideally might be tricky, I'd consider switching to transferKeepAlive in case we are close to the ED.

Sounds good. I think i will replicate the same behavior as polkadotjs: Execute transferKeepAlive as default and in case user wants to erase the account, switch to transfer method.

This discussion is for Sender's balance, what is the behaviour for the Amount that is being sent, if it's less then existential deposit?
