The first part of my talk will try to explain the motivation for Calvin and the key ideas behind the implementation. But since Calvin's implementation is not very accessible (only recently released and still incomplete), I've developed an expository model for the second part of my talk. It's about 1000 lines of ruby, wth minimal dependencies, so not too hard to digest.
