If one person prefers a slightly different syntax and wants to enforce it by throwing useless errors, please just fork the project and call it sadpandas, but leave the world's software alone!

Since pandas is open source, you are always welcome to comment on specific issues or pull requests proposing or implementing deprecations, or even fork the library if something isn't to your liking. For insight, deprecations are intended to transition users APIs that have clearer behavior and avoid ambiguous results.

s, but in the future commentary that is more specific and constructive would be appreciated as pandas is largely maintained by volunteers.
