Thanks. In retrospect it is obvious that if the local code hasn't changed, then a dependency has, in this case modelmeta. This is almost certainly due to the changes to accommodate discrete sampling geometry files, and this codebase wasn't updated accordingly.

Fixing this can come in two steps:

1. Pin modelmeta to ver 0.2.0
2. Pin modelmeta to ver 0.3.0 and update backend code to use the new schema. There are more things to fix than a handful of tests. This is the CE version of the discussion we had about PDP compatibility with various versions of modelmeta.
