Hey!
Apologies for such a delay.
I've looked into it now, and I've noticed you make use of the parent operator - ^, which nimma provides only partial support for.
^ is an additional specific to jsonpath-plus. nimma supports ^ only when placed at the end of the entire expression.
For greater compatibility, it offers a fallback to jsonpath-plus to cover off such cases. The error you see there is indeed raised by jsonpath-plus, thus I'd suggest filing an issue in that repo.
