I cannot reproduce your issue. Are you up-to-date?
M_DEFAULT_OPLIST has been renamed in M_BASIC_OPLIST recently, and this exampl uses M_BASIC_OPLIST which doesn't exist for older version (this may explain your error).

By the way, you can add "-ftrack-macro-expansion=0" option to GCC for having shorter & more pertinent error messages
