Crash when downloading about bandcampdownloader

For reference, in case of future similar bugs:
The issue comes from the fact that there are two albums with the same name in the discography (or, in @gchilds11 case, two albums with the same shortened name). Sometimes, if you're unlucky, the program will be downloading the cover art file (that is saved with the album name) of both albums in %TEMP% folder at a relatively very close time, causing the program to crash, because two threads are trying to access the same file at the same time.

I'm unable to reproduce this. Can you please paste here the log shown, after checking the option "Verbose log"?

I just had the same problem again - sometimes it occurs, sometimes it doesn't. Sadly "Verbose" logging seems to provide no useful information concerning the problem.

Where is the log file stored btw? I obviously can't copy&paste out of a crashed program window.

edit: it seems the crash occurs only when using "download artist discography" and encountering strange unicode characters - though only anecdotal (total usage count <10 over the last month), maybe this apparent correlation will help you track down the issue

Log file has been added in v0.2.0.0. Can you try again and provide your BandcampDownloader.log if the issue arises?

You mention unicode characters. I still can't reproduce the bug by downloading this track (titled (ﾉ◕ヮ◕​)​ﾉ​*​:​･ﾟ✧ ft. Protodome) for instance. Can you try it (uncheck ☑"Download artist discography", it shouldn't have any consequence) and let me know if it fails for you?

Also, which version of Windows 7 are you using?

for instance: downloading sleep until it hurts you causes a crash while downloading the weeping worm results in a success. it appears it occurs on albums with less tracks as trick dice fails while three sided tape vol 1 succeeds with no errors.
