1. Signal yield changes by ~10% after implementing the L1ECAL prefire weight.

Total % change in MC ~5%, whiel for WV_EWK % change is ~10%.

The branch name defined interface/setOutputTree.h and src/setOutputTree.cc are randomly defined. Need to categorise them.

Describe the solution you'd like
This will help to add/remove easily the name of variables. Also, it will improve the code readibility.

Currently this script (link) takes ~2hrs of running time.

Need to improve timing performance of this script.

I already updated this script here. It takes ~5-10 mins to run. But this requires uproot to run. But on lxplus we can't use the uproot. So, think of alternative.

Huge discripency in the data/mc of 2017.

To resolve this issue start with following:

• Make data/mc for just Z -> mu mu selection for 2017
• Compare the above with 2016.

Add two histogram having cut flow information for single lepton as well as two lepton case in the output root file.

Describe the solution you'd like
The histogram should look like:

1. PuppiAK8 eta and phi distribution: up and down distributions are overlapping. see [1] and [2]. While pt distribution seems fine [3].

   1. To fix this I am going to try: Here [link], I am replacing setptetaphiE with setPtEtaPhiM. Where M is the softdrop mass.

2. Improve naming convention here [link]. Add softdrop in name.

3. Other distributions are [4-12].

Because of this condition, this is unable to select those events where there are two leptons.

Additional correction one needs to apply to MET for the 2017 (only 2017) dataset due to the ECAL endcap noise:

Basically the whole point is to not include jets with 2.65<|eta|<3.139, and 15GeV <pt (raw) <50 GeV in the MET calculation. Practically speaking we just need to vectorially add back these jets in each event to the MET vector. Notice the pT of the jet to be used is the raw pT (before jet energy corrections). The name of the variable in the ntuples is ptRaw.
