Live updates extremely slow down the app about osmand

Same here. Had to disable live updates and delete the live update maps and restart the app to fix. There was vandalism on OSM with roads that extended the whole world recently. I believe it's due to that. However the live updates does not seem to be including them because they don't show up but it's still slow somehow? It's possible the live updates are still including the vandalized parts in its calculations and that's why it's so slow.

Yes, you're absolutely correct. There have been instances of vandalism on OSM. We are in the process of resolving this issue and recommend that you clear the live updates and reload them.

I have the same problem, I can see unususal unreal road - see the pictures. I need to switch the updates off.

@vshcherb, it's definitely not fixed for me. It somewhat improved. Now it's not extremely slow and impossible to use, but "only" very slow and very hard to use.

Not fixed here either and still not getting the last ~4 days of changes from OSM. Some issue with CDN caching?

Was it the fix on the live updates back end side (so the osmand app update is not needed), or we have to update the app to have it fixed?
