app freezes when exporting to file about osmand

It's possible that this might be influenced by older device or software versions. So you could try initially backing up data excluding the maps and then the maps separately.

Could you specify the storage location of these files? Additionally, what is the total data size you're attempting to export?
Also, attach a video that demonstrates the problem from your end.

The storage location is the internal storage. The freeze happens before the export selection menu so I don't know what size applies ? The total size of OsmAnd storage is 2.1 GB

I actually found a temporary fix, when the app is frozen I switch to a separate activity then switch back to osmand and the export selection menu appears, then I can select and export the files without issues. I will try to record and share a video when I have a bit of time.

Perhaps the following is even worth a separate issue: Also I, ever since perhaps 2 or so releases ago, experience occasional (never seen before) freezes of the app on all sorts of occasions, ike e.g. opening the MyPlaces > Tracks screen or several other screens or menus (even the map screen itself). On these occasions the app does for perhaps 20-30 sec not respond to any screen touch, and often (not always) Android detects the app as frozen and offers the "Close the app" or "Wait" dialog.

This problem is not reproduced on the latest OsmAnd Nightly. The system immediately offers data for backup file formation without freezing, which is also formed without freezing. Data on 5.6 GB
