Since Oscar is only a top level project, it doesn't contain a lot of documentation by itself. However, it really should expose documentation for the related projects.
Documentation for the synced_folders is available at http://rdoc.info/gems/vagrant-config_builder/ConfigBuilder/Model/SyncedFolder and http://rdoc.info/gems/vagrant-config_builder/ConfigBuilder/Model/VM#synced_folders-instance_method . It could definitely stand to have more coverage of course :) and that's something I'm hoping on improving. I'll try to make a pass through the config_builder synced_folders documentation and improve it, and get that out in a release shortly. Thanks for filing this issue!
