As you saw, the current solution is that we add it automatically and show an alert, making you aware of it and allowing you to revert it immediately if you don't like it. We could actually add an Undo button to make that easier.

I may be incorrect on this, but pretty sure orbstack did not show this dialog when I set up it for the first time

I can't revert it. Orbstack keep adding it back.

If you don't want that you can enable admin privileges.

I am talking about when orbstack doesn't have admin privilege

OrbStack won't add it back if you add any of OrbStack's bin directories to your PATH manually.

That kinda breaks with direnv. direnv only load the orbstack path when I am in a specific folder.

Actually, commenting the line will stop OrbStack from adding it back.
