GMapping Repository from OpenSLAM.org
I am interested in use gmapping in my ROS project. However, I am using ROS Melodic and there does not seem to be a package for gmapping out for it. I would like to build/install the codebase, but I am at a lost for how to proceed.
I tried to use make
in the root folder of the repo, but that failed.
If you could help me build this codebase from source, that would be much appreciated.
I want to catkin make the source pkg gmapping , but in the CMakeList file there has a line :
find_package(catkin REQUIRED nav_msgs nodelet openslam_gmapping roscpp tf rosbag_storage)
so how to install openslam_gmapping in ros melodic?
I have tried to build using the make file and I got error. When I examine the Makefile I understood that global.mk is missing in the repository. What is the solution to build this and how can I use in project?
