More random things to discuss:

• I think the beat/music should start with title right in the beginning
• I also wouldn't go for the scale transition in the beginning, maybe I can prototype the intro!
• I think its more powerful if we start with the game directly after the intro without the start button screen

Some dev related feedback:

• in the intro sometimes the timing doesn't work well, so "Stuttgart" and "traffic" is sometimes overlaying
• Depending on the browser sizes, you can sometimes scroll the video. So maybe a fixed position for the video?
• Also the detections seem still quit shaky to me..do you think we can get more improvements there?
• we should remove the text/image highlight in css, cause it highlights the video when I do a lot of double clicks

We forgot to speak about how to have the smoke going down, my take is that we should have different kind of bonus objects that are left out by cars

• Trees (or other metaphor) : those would bring the smoke bar down , maybe more "rare"
• Bananas or carrots (or other metaphor) : would give extra points
• Bad objects : would bring the smoke bar up ?

Other ideas ?

Also then we will need to have a huge discussion on how to balance well everything to have this "easy to survive" , "hard to get the best score" respected ... For ex it would be way easier on touch device than desktop

👎 No bad objects for now ... feels at least for me too much complexity ... we already have so much on our plates.

A simpel solution to recycle the game mechanics above in the "alarm / nearly dead mode" would be to increase the amount of things the cars are loosing and to give the player a last very limited amount of time to collect enough objects to bring the smog-bar down.
