can't depend on two packages that both depend on a third package about meteorite

I think this is actually a separate problem. You'll find .meteor/meteorite is a symlink to an empty directory. I think this in an artifact of earlier errors.

oh, that was a guess, will try to look deeper at it tomorrow. i was running it like this so i don't think it's an artifact of previous error like you say:

rm -rf ~/.meteorite ./.meteor/meteorite smart.lock && mrt -p 8887
