Ran into the same issue just now.
Astro 2.3.2 has listed as peerDep sharp^0.31.3, meaning 0.32 is invalid.
pnpm throws a warning for this:
Running npm install sharp just installs latest version. We should update package.json. I created a PR.

We updated some dependencies (6d332b1) and there should no longer be a contradiction with the sharp dependency. Please confirm.
