that might be good addition to is_searchbar module but I don't think we will be able to deliver it with version 4.
I would like to do it properly with indexing words from category description and title for multi lang and multi store 🤔.

I think it is sufficient to add a category selector to reduce the search to the category and its subcategories.
the search for words in descriptions and other sectors is already present in the search settings, where the priorities can be changed.

I misunderstood your request. I though about categories as result for a given query.

I think what you would like to do is more complicated than what I had in mind. I haven't explored the topic in depth, maybe your idea is more interesting
