There are several issues, and I'm not sure which you are seeing.
First: if you are talking about a pixel-perfect "flush to the grid", then you are seeing browser-rounding issues. If you are using Chrome, it has more trouble rounding the background grid-image than it does rounding the actual columns, so you're layout is actually more precise than your grid background. That's a chrome bug that I will need to document more clearly.
If you are talking about a larger breaking of the layout, it is probably due to gutters. Susy can handle the math properly for partial columns, but it has no way to know where you want gutters. I suppose I could remove gutters when decimals are present, but any change like that feels a bit odd. I recommend using the Susy functions rather than the mixins and setting it up yourself. You can use columns()
, gutter()
, and side-gutter()
in your math to create any lengths you need based on the Susy grid.

Makes perfect sense, thanks!
