Yay for you, I guess. Is there something concrete you intend to contribute to the project that you want to communicate here, like changes needed to make it build, examples on how to integrate it, etc?
Note that the issue tracker is not a forum and issue updates are sent out by priority email to everyone who watches the issue tracker. Issues that are not issues are just plain noise, regardless of how proud you may feel about your work.
