Yeah, exactly. So maybe just do clean=no? I think it's just that pausing to ask the user for input is alarming, and doesn't always work well if you have nvm as part of some automated process.

on the mac I'm having some issue with nvm latest and npm (v 1.0?) playing along nicely, am I the only one?

swapped node from v0.4.0 to v0.4.3 and my troubles went away (with nvm and npm)
