This is by design. According to the source code the +/- convention represents an arrow, showing an increase/decrease over the previous number. So the interpretation here is (50%)*1,5
from epsilon.
Yes this is by design: "a+x%" is "a increased by x percent". So 50%+50% is 50/100 increased by 50%. The input is kind of ambiguous so we had to take some design choices here
