I wasn't able to reproduce the issue, on my end it seems completely fine however I did notice a bug with loading configurations so thanks for pointing that out.
- Please check whether the "Message Content" intent is enabled for your bot. If it isn't, please do enable it at Developer Portal > Your application > Bot > Privileged Gateway Intents
