I think maybe the title for this should be "Scrum Master" vs "Project Manger"?
Either way, yes, the Project Manager is similar to what pure Scrum calls a Scrum Master. In our org (in which we use a modified Scrum), we have both PMs and SMs with the differentiation being that Scrum Masters are only there to run the scrums, whereas the Project Managers actually manage the project. I, personally, prefer the term Project Manager to Scrum Master as it's their job to manage expectations and time and guide the project, not control the project which IMO is the connotation of Master.
I'm also waiting on feedback from my head of process at work (director in charge of Agile and its various methodologies) on the Dev Process section. For the initial release of North it's probably just going to include the modified Scrum we use, but it's probably worth in the future including the modified version of RAD we sometimes use. If so, I believe it's important to not tie the name of the roles to a specific type of Agile as the roles will most likely persist between different versions of Agile (including those w/o Scrum) and even other methodologies.
Does this help answer your question? I'm open to finding a different term other than Project Manager as long as it's not tied to a specific form of Agile and does not have the connotation to someone unfamiliar with Agile or Agile Scrum (as we are) of an individual that runs a project, but rather an individual that helps keep everyone else on track and working at their peak.

Thanks for the clarification, @Snugug. I'd love to help out in any way I can in regards to team and process. I'll be around
